We arrived back in Dolgellau yesterday evening quite exhausted after our daughter Jo’s wedding to Dan but not too exhausted to appreciate the fantastic place that we have chosen to live. We feel so lucky! We were not too tired to take a trip to the lakes that sit above Dolgellau and below Cader Idris.
This morning still quite exhausted we managed a short walk with the dogs. We have to park our van down the road during the day – parking in Dolgellau is a challenge but a only a very small inconvenience of living in such a lovely welsh town – so we walked from our parking spot down to the river and back along the Mawddach trail into town collecting blackberries along the way for breakfast!!
